💡 On the 31st of March was time for the yearly Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day #IGEday
The day when companies all over Sweden opened their doors to girls and non-binary 13-19 years old to try the engineering profession hands-on and meet role models.
Big thanks to my fantastic AFRY colleagues for making this happen.
We did different sessions e.g. about future cities, with a focus on Urban Planning, Energy, 3D BIM modeling, Telecom, and MedTech. Girls did an activity to experience how is it to work as a team within engineering, design, and urban planning.
Personally, I was so amazed that some girls already knew about the 15-minute city concept by Carlos Moreno, and how they design their LEGO model based on that!
I am very blessed by having brave & collaborative colleagues with so much knowledge and experience. It’s inspiring working in an inclusive and big organization of so many diverse people.
