Robot friendly cities

I find it very interesting that architects, planners, landscape architects, traffic planners … need to consider a new perspective in our cities. Robot’s perspective!

We design and build buildings that are functional and last for at least 100 years. But the question here is, are we considering robots when we design our 100 years buildings? Robots are not something that will be between us in 100 years, they are already here.

Episode 246 of Urbanistica Podcast is about if our cities are robot-friendly Cities or not?

In this very interesting conversation with Elena Sjödin (founder and CEO of Robot Minds) we are talking about:
-How do we plan and design robot-friendly cities?
-Architecture principles that make it easier for robots to be among humans.
-Do we really need robots in our cities?
-What will the citizens benefit from Robots?
-What kind of robots will we see when we visit H22 City Expo?

Links in the comments below. Follow Urbanistica Podcast for more stories about the making of smarter and more livable cities for people.

I am interested to hear your reflections about this topic, also about
-Are we going to see people with titles in planning and designing Robot Friendly Cities and buildings?
-Are we going to see handbooks about robot-friendly architecture?

Keep up the good work
