🧩 And also talked about the relationship between:
-Hardware: the physical aspects of buildings, streets, and cities that shape people-centered environments.
-Orgware: organizing cities collaboratively, empowering residents to influence their surroundings with sustainable, scalable strategies.
-Software: user experience, including wayfinding and diverse functionality, ensuring public spaces are vibrant and multi-use.

💡 The students raised some interesting questions and ideas:
-Why aren’t there more projects fully implementing all Placemaking steps?
-How cheap/light/quick should it be?
-How can we embrace outdoor spaces year-round, especially in winter?
-How do we attract diverse groups, beyond local, socio-economic backgrounds?

📩 Looking forward to doing more indoor and outdoor sessions with students. Feel free to send a message or email me at mustafa.sherif@afry.com, and we can plan for a lecture, a study visit, a workshop, or a session.

Keep up the good work
keep loving cities!
