The Winners of Imagine a Space for the Young competition

MUSTAFA SHERIF

Congratulations to the winners of the “Imagine a Space for the Young” competition by Architects Without Borders’ Stockholm local group:

Honorable mention: Sara Ocklind

Entry: The colored wooden labyrinth

Winners: Chris Steenhuis and Georgia Zwart-Ion

Winning Entry: “Rethinking Childhood in Tomelilla: Child-friendly. Different. Yours!”

The jury Kristin Gausdal, Alexander Marek, Lisa Klingwall and Felix Heuman: praised the winning proposal for its comprehensive approach to making Tomelilla a child-friendly city. By catering to diverse personality types and integrating separate places into an urban whole, the proposal stood out as a visionary contribution to ASF-Sweden’s mission.

Thanks to Mariia Smoliakova and the fantatic Arkitekter utan gränser (ASF-Sweden) Stockholm team for inviting me. Thanks to Brunnberg & Forshed Arkitektkontor AB for hosting the event.
