Welcoming 400 new architecture and urban planning students

Back to business & back to this yearly tradition 🎓

We welcome 400 new students at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology within Architecture, Urban Development, Construction and Design, Energy & Environment, Property Finance & Development.

My passionate & talented colleagues from the industry and I told our stories to inspire the new 400 students. I love this tradition because I personally got inspired by:
⭐️ Björn Berggren (Dean School of Architecture and the Built Environment)
⭐️ Elise Grosse (Chief Sustainability Sweco Architects)
⭐️ Karin Ahlzén (Stadsledningskontoret Stockholms stad)
⭐️ Olof Johansson (Innovationschefat Trafikverket)

My story to students was about a life hack about how they can find their passion.

🎮 I talked about my own journey, and how did I take watching movies & video gaming from hobbies to academic Urban Planning studies to working professionally with Urban Planning and Design as an Urban Planner & Placemaker at AFRY

Thanks for the invitation and for keeping this tradition Samhällsbyggnadslänken vid KTH
Rikard Espling , Joanna Messmer, Natalie Kokkalis & the team for the very important work you do in welcoming students, bridging together academia & practitioners, expanding students’ networks already from the first day, creating fun activities, and much more…

Keep up the good work
Keep loving cities
