Public Art

Mustafa is in love with community engagement to create Street Art Murals projects. Letting people be the storytellers is what makes Public Art projects successful. He believes as experts we need to listen to the local people and welcome them to be part of the project.

Street Art Mural by elderly people

Mustafa was an active part of a great team who led a street art workshop in Stockholm -Sweden. The aim was to have a collection of stories on a big mural art on a big wall in Stockholm. The walls belong to the elderly care house and the stories belong to the elderly people who are living in the house. The workshops series aimed to listen to the stories, to bring up the element that could be painted on the wall. Read more about the project here.

Street Art Mural by young people

Powered by Förorten i Centrum association & Skärholmens Youth Center. A workshop series organised and hosted 200 young people in the area of Skärholmen. The aim is to create a big street art mural that mirrors the identity and the dreams of these young people. After the concept workshops, a new painting workshop series was going on. Young people from the area participated in painting this Street Art Mural by themselves. It resulted in 250 sq.m panels on a big wall in the Stockholm area in Stockholm.
